Both phones show the same scattered numbers. Tap 1, then 2, then 3 — whoever taps first gets the number.

How to play

Find the numbers in order, 1, 2, 3 and on, faster than the other player.

Nobody waits. Everyone taps at once.

  1. Both phones show the same numbers, scattered in exactly the same places.
  2. The bar shows the number to find. Find it and tap it. Tapping any other number does nothing.
  3. Each number you grab gets a ring in your colour.
  4. In the lobby, Sheets picks how you race. One sheet: you share one sheet, whoever taps a number first gets it, and whoever gets the most numbers wins.
  5. One each: nobody can take your numbers. You each find them all, and whoever finishes first wins. Finished first? Tap the other player's row to watch their sheet.
  6. Playing alone? Find every number as fast as you can.
  7. On a big sheet, pinch or double tap to zoom, and drag to look around. Tap the magnifier, then touch and hold the sheet and drag. Let go to grab the number in the circle. Double tap zoom can be turned off in Options.

Play with a friend

  1. Open Recess and choose Number Hunt.
  2. Tap With a friend. Your table gets a code.
  3. Send your friend the code or the link. They join from a browser or the app.

Can two people play Number Hunt on two phones?

Yes. Open Recess, choose Number Hunt and tap With a friend. Then send your friend the code or the link.

Can I play Number Hunt against the computer?

Yes. Choose Number Hunt and play the robot on your own, at the level you pick.

Does my friend need to install anything?

No. Your friend can open the link in a browser and play with an internet connection. To play nearby without internet, you both need the app.
